Morokami Seminar General Incorporated Association

Academic knowledge and student energy
applied to real community challenges.

Hosei University's practice-based marketing seminar supports companies, municipalities, and regional organizations through industry–university collaboration. We combine consumer psychology theory, the sensibility of active students, and the professional expertise of alumni to deliver solutions that truly move people — from upstream strategy to on-the-ground execution.
No consulting or supervision fees. Any fieldwork and event costs are discussed per project.

Consultation

The kinds of inquiries
we receive

We receive contact from organizations of all sizes and sectors — companies, municipalities, and regional groups.

Common challenges we hear about

Recognizing these pain points in
regional development or research collaboration?

💰

Consulting costs too high
Hired an external consultant but couldn't see a return. Hard to justify large budget commitments.

📋

Generic proposals that don't deliver
Proposals recycled from other regions don't fit local realities and never take root.

🔍

Can't capture young consumer insights
Want communication strategies or products that resonate with Gen Z, but no in-house expertise.

📅

One-off efforts with no follow-through
A single event or survey ends without evolving into sustained, ongoing action.

Morokami Seminar combines
three distinct strengths to solve them.

Twenty years of applied knowledge, combined with academic, professional, and generational perspectives — that's our edge.

Academic
Foundation

Supervised by Professor Shigemitsu Morokami of Hosei University. Drawing on consumer psychology, marketing theory, and regional design, we ground every analysis and strategy in evidence — not instinct.

& Execution

36 active seminar members (Gen Z) go into the field and talk directly with local residents and consumers. We capture the human reality that data alone can't show.

Quality Assurance

How Collaboration Works

We'd love to hear from you.

Even a tentative "could we explore this?" is a fine place to start. We'll think together about what kind of collaboration is possible. No fees charged. Out-of-pocket costs are explained clearly on a per-project basis.
